I love books.
I love to read books.
I love to read all kinds of books.
I love being a part of a book group that reads the same book, then shares about the book with each other.
I love the feel of a book in my hands as I turn the pages.
I love the smell of old books.
I love the sound of pages turning as I'm reading a book.
I love to touch the cover of a hardback book.
People ask me about using an "e-reader" like Amazon's Kindle to read books.
To me, it just wouldn't be the same. Reading to me isn't just about the words. It is the whole sensory experience of reading a book.
I love books, and am very thankful I have them to read.
Here is the book I am currently reading.
I love books!!!

You wrote exactly how I feel. The sensory experience of holding, feeling, leafing through the pages, and the smell of books is all part of the reading experience for me! I love the smell of books fresh off the press as well as the old books! I cannot imagine ever using anything like a Kindle.
Just thinking about all the books waiting to be read makes me happy!
I agree with all this also. I have wanted to read this book by Egan plus his new book about The Big Burn.
I love this post and agree with you and your other commentors.
Books are wonderful portals into other lives and worlds, don't you think? Just open and dive in!
