Well, I'm back from the District Track Meet held at Timberlake High School. The Kellogg Wildcats had a very good showing, including my daughter Z2.
She placed first in the girls 7th grade 400 run with a time of 69 seconds.
Her 4 x 100 relay team placed second.
She was first in her heat in the 200. She didn't place, but she did have a personal best in that race today with 31.5 I believe.
As far as team stats:
The 7th grade boys placed fourth.
The 7th grade girls placed second.
The 8th grade boys placed second.
The 8th grade girls placed second.
So, track is officially done for the season. But summer training is just around the corner!!

Wow! Awesome time for a 7th grader! You must love watching her run!
Our middle daughter V, was a 400 runner in High School, and her 4x4 team won state her Jr. Year 2003. (Skyline High School) It was so much fun to see her compete!
