It was homecoming this week at Kellogg High School. It was exciting for this family because The Princess was one of the candidates up for Homecoming Queen.
So it wasn't really that big of deal to me that the Kellogg Wildcats beat the St. Maries Lumberjacks 61-12. I was having more fun helping The Princess get ready for the halftime Homecoming festivities.
Unfortunately she didn't win, even thought I felt like she was the most beautiful candidate. But then a mother is always prejudiced. And, even though she wasn't crowned queen, she continues to be the beautiful Princess in this home.

It is late and my last comment had far too many typos...so I'll try again. Congratulations to You, PKR, the rest of the family, and especially The Princess! Having seen the voting process as a player, coach, and parent, I can vouch for the fact that the meaningful vote is the Nomination. After that it is a fickle roll of the dice. Congratulations all!
Molly J. looks beautiful! Congratulations on being a Homecoming princess.
Thanks for posting these beautiful pictures I could link to my blog since I didn't get as good of ones. Congrats again Molly!
The Princess probably didn't tell you, but during the practice on Thursday morning, I announced her as queen when it came to that part of the script, thus allowing her move from a Princess to a Queen for one shining moment. She was indeed a lovely member of the homecoming royalty...you can be very proud.
