All Good Gifts

As summer turns to autumn each year, I think about the song "All Good Gifts" from the musical "Godspell". I am especially thinking about it this year, since I am in rehearsals for "Godspell" right now, and will be performing it on stage in November.

As I harvested my garden this week, and walked around my yard taking pictures, this song came to mind, and I felt it was a fitting song to accompany the pictures of my September Gardens.

Enjoy!!

I have not heard or sung this song in many years, and I have NEVER heard that version ....

But it did take me back to the days when at school and we use to have to collect food items for the Harvest Festival boxes, which were put together at school and distributed to the elderly near our school, to help with their winter food ......

And how strange, I can sing along to this hymn almost word perfect LOL and I dont do god...... whats that about....

Your photos are beautiful.... just beautiful..

What a lovely slide show. It made me feel like I was walking right through your backyard! If you have any extra zucchini, could you grate it and put it in the freezer for me? I have none. sigh.
