So I wore the mask today as I shopped at Costco and Fred Meyer.
This was my take away from this experience.
Everyone should experience wearing a mask at least one time when they go shopping.
Why? (Besides the obvious reason that it may protect you and others?)
So you can be more empathetic toward the employees at these stores who have to wear these masks during their whole shift.
I wore mine less than an hour and it was driving me nuts!
One more reason to applaud our essential workers and give them a smile and a kind word each and every time you encounter them.
They are my heroes!!
