Gathering Graces 4/10/2020 Hail To The WIldcats...Hats Off To You Class of 2020

Way to go Kellogg School District Community!!!

Paul and I got to be a part of honoring the Kellogg High School Class of 2020.  Tonight, throughout the nation, there was a #bethelight campaign for schools across the country to turn on their football stadium lights at 8:20 (20:20 military time) to honor this graduating class.

Here is what the Kellogg School District did:

I know similar events were also being done in Mullan and Wallace.

I have heard nothing but positive things about this event.  People did as they were told.  They staye in their cars.  They drove through town and honked.  No one drove crazy or caused a scene.  It was amazing!!

Thursday night Paul and I were asked to come to the KHS gym to be a part of a video that was made for the Class of 2020 by singing the Alma Mater at the end of the video.  We were asked because we are both Kellogg High School alum.  We were so excited to be a part of this video.

Then Friday night, Paul and I were part of the Kellogg School District staff that stood on the sidewalk as cars went by Teeters Field and honked in support of the Class of 2020.  What a great turnout of support from our community!!
At 20:20 the lights came on.

And the cars started driving and honking up and down Hill Street.
It was fun to wave as people went by.
Our Superintendent Dr. Nancy Larsen showing her support!
Thanks to Christina Derbyshire for lending us signs to wave.

Photo bombed by Tim Kimberling!!
