I think walking last night helped a bit, and it sounds like we will be walking a lot in DC, so hopefully it will be just fine.Carol Woolum Robertshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06957608661837611056noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3860524748011385727.post-72773894516351999542007-06-04T22:04:00.000-07:002007-06-04T22:04:00.000-07:00I hope your neck gets better. Now if I see you in the Rose Garden with GW I hope you aren't looking pained! :)Christy Woolumhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02748862572108653566noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3860524748011385727.post-86500047726960953012007-06-04T21:08:00.000-07:002007-06-04T21:08:00.000-07:00Ah, the joys of getting older. I went through a few years where I was too sick to exercise much, then when I finally started up again - - - "Poof" - the body didn't respond as quickly as it used to do. Now I have to remind myself that no matter how good I feel when I exercise. . .I have to pace myself - or it will be days before the 'pain' goes away!

And to think that when I was in my 20s I took exercise as a "given." My body just did what I wanted and that was that! Young people just don't know how good they have it!Pinehurst in my Dreamshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14839389283883857130noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3860524748011385727.post-79762616700794954792007-06-04T15:11:00.000-07:002007-06-04T15:11:00.000-07:00We must be in similar mindsets with working out--a...We must be in similar mindsets with working out--as we have been many times in the last 25 years. After nine months of doing nothing, I've started running again. It's so hard at first--but I know how much I love it once I get in three or four weeks. I also started a push-up challenge. Hopefully I'll get to see you on Friday and we can commiserate about our aching bodies before you take off for DC.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
